Michael Elrad is one of the co-founders and Senior Managing Partners at GEM Realty Capital in Chicago. GEM manages over $4 billion in assets through two lines of business: GEM Realty Properties and GEM Realty Securities, managing private-market and publicly traded real estate through two portfolio management arms: GEM Realty Properties and GEM Realty Securities respectively. Elrad oversees portfolio management, research, trading operations and business development as part of GEM’s corporate strategy and corporate vision setting responsibilities; this also includes portfolio oversight by overseeing portfolio management research trading operations & business development division.
