Richie Rich is a fictional character from the Harvey Comics universe, who starred in over 50 titles from 1950 to 1982. He’s the eldest son of a wealthy family, but he’s far from a stereotypical rich person, as he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty or help out the poor. He has a dog, Cadbury, and a love interest, Gloria.
Richie has a very wealthy aunt named Aunt Noovo, who is very eccentric and loves to post signs and show off her wealth. Richie’s paternal uncle is Stormy, who is an ex-coach of a professional football team. Both of these aunts are eccentric and rich, but they are very different from each other.
In addition to being a fictional character from the TV series, Richie Rich has also appeared in live-action films. A live-action version of Richie Rich was released in 1994, starring Macaulay Culkin as the title character. The film was produced by Silver Pictures Davis Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. under the banner of family entertainment.
