The new location for the Busy Beaver, a home improvement retailer with locations in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Pittsburgh, is slated to open at 9 a.m. on June 1. Grand opening festivities will feature giveaways, prizes, and children’s activities. The new store will be 60,000 square feet and feature an expanded seasonal department, an indoor lumber yard, and a farm and ranch department. Additionally, the store will include a designated contractor service center.
Busy Beaver is based in Pittsburgh, and plans to open several locations in Pennsylvania this fall. The new store in Calcutta, Ohio, will be about 60,000 square feet and will include a dedicated contractor service center and expanded seasonal departments. The new store will also employ 20 full-time employees.
The new store will be the 24th location for the home improvement chain, and the fifth in Ohio. The company also has stores in Canton, Salem, and Ashtabula. The Calcutta location will continue the legacy of Three Sons’ True Value Hardware and will offer the same products and service that the other stores offer.
